Extremely good location and the bed.
It was quite noisy. From pipes, through ferries to people slamming doors.

Not only is Hotel Posta Vechia in a wonderful location, close to the ferry and bus station it is also in the heart of the old part of Bastia and has fantastic view of the sea right outside your window. The room is wonderful with a large bathroom for extra comfort. They are clean and the staff are so helpful being able to speak multiple languages. I highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent easy location in Bastia and lovely atmosphere in a rustic style. Good dining recommendation from staff.
Slightly lacking in breakfast department - quite basic, not as fresh as it could have been.

The hotel is conveniently located near the Bastia port, making it a great choice for those catching a ferry or exploring the area. The staff are friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, with options for an extra bed and a sea-view for those seeking a beautiful panorama. The included breakfast, served by a friendly waitress, was a nice touch that added value to our stay.
The only slight downside was the lack of soundproofing in some areas of the hotel.

The hotel is situated near many restaurants and bars, perfect for those looking for a lively atmosphere. Additionally, it's very close to the old town harbor area, providing a great opportunity to explore the city's history and culinary scene.
The facilities and amenities in the rooms are subpar, leaving guests feeling cramped and unsatisfied.

The closeness to the ferry terminal.
The room was small and dark. The receptionist said she upgraded our room to give us a sea view, and indeed we could, if we craned our necks through 90 degrees.

The hotel offered us a wonderful last night in Corsica. We could finally take a bath together in a proper air conditioned room. Then the romantic walk to the citadel and old port was just a few minutes away. We sat down for some drinks at Le Bouchon, and then made out all night under the moon light. The morning after, waking up with a view over the sea and the beautiful body of my girlfriend, was just sublime. A definite recommendation, but an experience only attained with a perfect girlfriend like mine...
Some of the towels were a bit smelly but after asking they changed them right away and the remote control was not working so after having made love you would have to get out of bed to either turn the television on or off.

In a region where hardly anyone speaks English, the staff all do and are very helpful. The location (we had a sea view) was near the water, close to the harbor, the old town and the ferry port. Breakfast at 8 eoros was very doable.
All this is tempered by the fact that the room was very inexpensive. Very small lift, no place to hang or put your clothes, not enough amenities in the bathroom and no english station on the tv. None of this bothered us as the good points made up for it.
